It's been a long time that I read the WN but

Spoiler: About the charm ability

everyone in the story that's aware of it keeps downplaying it when it already caused so much damage. Like, there's one character who's job was to seal it but they ended up just leaving it alone. It's as if something is compelling everyone to underestimate it. Last I read some upcoming antagonist was interested in the ability but I didn't read further because of how MC handled his stepsister soured the whole thing for me.
