Isn't this good development? They now have a connection to another kingdom, a connection stronger than just a random agreement or trade deal. It won't really automatically lead to anything and there's zero reason Tetra would be controlled Abram in any way. Abram ought to be happy that his granddaughter actually ended up as a king's wife. The only question mark would be, should he learn about it, Tetra's promise that her child won't try to claim the crown even if born first. It means the next king of Rosice won't be related to Abram.

Pg 20 jank wording is especially fun, the "As they're father and daughter" line feels like it refers to Abram and Tetra

Given that one of King Abram's first acts was to place emphasis on industry and gold mining, I wouldn't say that his goals are all that altruistic. Instead, he strikes me as a very Machiavellian sort of ruler - a fine balance of good governance and deceit. He's going to press for every advantage he can get.
