Wow, did the author even TRY to research stuff for this manga? There's so much wrong in this chapter. First, as pointed out in many other comments, that slingshot hit should've killed the nameless thug. Second, if that isekai radish really is the same as we know, namely Raphanus sativus, 2 weeks should NOT be enough for the shown growth of the plants. They look way to big for that, almost ripe for harvest, which shouldn't happen much earlier than 8-10 weeks after sowing. Third, this could very well be a translation error, the process shown in p18 is NOT distillation, it's simply cooking the daisies as if making tea out of them. Distillation is a process to seperate liquids which requiers an apparatus that can catch the wanted vapor, seperate it from other vapor (if the boiling point of the liquids is less than 84ish °C apart), than run it through a cooler to condense it back into a liquid and finally catch that liquid in a seperate container.
Oh and p13 shows why you don't skip leg day 😜

I think the killing part was pretty good. Him pucking right after, and forcing a smile for the kids conveys the issue well enough.

I kind of agree with the comments. I feel like he got used to killing (and simply using the sword) way too fucking quick. Then again, all Isekai MC do, lest they be called beta cucks by the almighty MD commenters.
However, at the very least there was a portrayal of him realizing what he'd done later, and a visceral reaction, so good enough.
As for the sling shot... I've only ever been mildly interested in that weapon. Does it really carry that much power? I mean, is it a GUARANTEED kill?

And as for the raddish thing... Again, people, learn to differentiate author and character. I have like 0 knowledge about plants, so if I ever get Isekai'd and find something that remotely looks like an apple, I'll say "well, at least it looks like the apples in my world". Doesn't mean it is. And since I've no idea of the growth period, I can't talk about that.

Just want say to sling ≠ Slingshot.

Slingshot is y-shaped rubberband thing that you shoot bird or hare(or your neighbor's window) with.

Sling is what shepherd use to fight off wolves. The same weapon David used to caved Goliath's face in (through his helmet).

Do these writers not realize how desensitized the modern internet population is?

Ah, yes. Because you're speaking from experience and killed at least a few people to know about this.
