@Kaarme Ability doesn't matter when a solid social hierarchy exists at least not from what hes shown so far from these nine chapters, the King and Princess don't usually mingle with the commoners like is presented here, they have officials and bureaucrats and lower nobles to do so, (which isn't to say that would never meet or greet any commoners but it wouldn't nearly be as personal as this) being able to keep a village of children alive is all fine and dandy but that doesn't really make it more likely to meet the Head of State, maybe an advisor at best. The King's time would be important as to not waste it and none of these things require the King to even see our MC.
Weak Social Hierarchy and near non existent nobility or bureaucracy. Nothing you've said really belays what i've mentioned.
Foreign experts wouldn't be this close to the king or royal family, and our MC at this juncture is NOT an expert, hes at best an independent village mayor. The only thing particularly outstanding is his affiliation to the Griffin. Which is the only thing that i can see that would bear meeting the kid.

Edit: Look, a United States Mayor would have extreme difficulty directly contacting face to face a US Senator let alone the President, and this is in a country far less rigid than a feudal monarchy or even Absolute monarchy would EVER be. In this case the Mayor has far more legitimacy and respect than our MC in this manga has, which is to say Almus has zero.

Edit2: Also Yes, being an orphan DOES matter, because its a Monarchy with i would assume Nobility. Bloodline matters in these places, which an Orphan does not have.

So essentially, MC is going to become future king, only boosting his power even further with a whole nation trusting him. He'll essentially become god like the more he grows the nation lol, and the more great his abilities become the more people will trust him. His blessing is almost a broken blessing, it's just way too good with no limit cap.

@goodhunter Tbf, that's kind of relative. We depend on a somewhat shaky translation, but if it was done right, his power rises the more people FOLLOW him. Meaning, suppose he raises to the top...and then messes up, or there's some background political trap or whatever. People stop following him, he weakens.

Like, you're sorta right, there doesn't seem to be a "limit cap". But it's not like once he "reaches level 50" (so to speak) he is level 50 forever. He can go back down to level 5.

I like where this is going. Even if this is Harem-tagged which I'm iffy about, at least the two girls are the best wife candidates for MC, who aren't just here to be empty eye-candies or fulfilling the male fantasy for being total waifus with voluptuous bodies. So I have hope for the MC saving the whole continent from self-destruction while leading the people through his growing leadership.
