'Kirishia' might be be taken from the word 'Girisha' which the Japanese term for 'Greece'.
And it won't be a wonder since Kirishia was once described to be a nation composed of self-governing city-states where the leaders convene as one (much like a republic) and they are also repelling a great kingdom called 'Persis' (probably the Persia of this world).
