Iirc in the raws its キャリバ/Caliber as in Excalibur.
See, that makes sense. Should’ve been Sword or something, but I get it.

So who’s the next girl we’ll be introduced to? Buckler? Rapier? Gun?

Damn, what do you call that position on page 8? The Sword in the Stone? The Pussy Sandwich? The Tri-fuck-ta?

Translating よろしくお願いします into English can be challenging because it should refer to the context it is said in to flow naturally. A local translator says "ah fuck it"

Nice!

Also i searched and the Kojima picture is unfornunately an edit over the book cover. It's actually a Devilman The classic collection vol. 1 xD

Like I said before: Staff = best girl

That's not to say that Calibur or Matchet are too far behind her--they aren't by any means.

It's just that there's no topping Staff, and from her, there's nowhere left to go but level or down. And the author--as shown in the first chapter--is going down. This is the next "girl", if Whip doesn't count: a female on steroids whose romanized name is Kure Moa--named after a claymore.

After that, according to that page in the first chapter, is what looks to be some flatchested shorthair. At least Sao's got Calibur and Staff, but it makes no sense for him to go from those three (that is, Staff, Calibur, and Matchet) to the remaining two--when authors do this, they only establish their MCs as not having any tastes of their own, just existing as vehicles for reader tastes--and this solely so the author can appeal to as many people as possible.
