I put up here because I wanted to share with you all instead of just throwing it away, Also as far as I know Tomoshibi/SquigglesJP has not dropped this, I look up to them as their translation had given me motivation to make this TL.

So long as you don't try to claim a series, it's all good. Multiple translations are a boon, not a bane. You did a pretty good job, too.

I see what you're saying, but if you want to demonstrate your admiration of a scanlation group, this isn't the way. Like @gorore said, there are other manga you could pick up that are sitting around rotting for whatever reason. Some examples:

Bijo to Kenja to Majin no Ken

Isekai Kara Kita Elf to Tomo ni Sugosu Nichijou

Even if these do not strike your fancy, there are many others; and if doing your own project doesn't appeal, you could offer to help Tomoshibi and Squiggles rather than compete with them (that's what it ultimately comes down to, sniping is not just an innocuous provision of alternatives to the reader).

From what I've seen and heard from people on these forums, you shouldn't be so troubled. Lolicon isn't pedophilia, after all! That is what those people insist--some of them are in this topic, too--they even get pissy when you assert the contrary. According to them, there's no reason at all for you to be disturbed--therefore, you should seek the "correction" of that totally-not-little girl as passionately as they do.

Hmm a quality snipe? Now that’s something I haven’t seen in a long time…last time I saw that happened, it was the 3-way scanwar on Solo Levelling

I do think that instead of sniping, i think you can contribute by scanlating other mangas that haven’t seen a new ch in years. Some are due to licensing concerns (Kenja no Deshi got abandoned for so long the official TLs have passed the scanlation, hence no one wanted to try picking it up again), but some like Shingan no Yuusha (ignore the chs done by Hao Sect. Those guys do trash-grade speed scans) hasn’t seen a decent ch scanlation in years.

Gotta say, there were some surprises among them; one of them was a sweet story I'd forgotten about but wasn't surprised by, since GDS had it in its clutches; another one was a story I liked quite a lot. That second one, I thought was just subject to a waiting game for whatever reason...but the group that stuck with it for so long actually dropped it.
