A tweet from Akase Tomato about the volume 2 releases.

Translation:
Volume 2 of "Otherworld Magical Girl Radical☆Haruna" is scheduled for release on October 2!
Can you believe it… Gen Urobuchi himself wrote a comment for the book jacket..!! (Is this a dream...?)
Thank you so, so much for taking the time despite being so busy with the MadoMagi theatrical release!!
Back when I was watching MadoMagi as it aired, I never could have imagined I’d be blessed with an opportunity like this… Miracles and magic really do exist...!
I truly appreciate your support!!

Don't forget to buy it if you have the means to support the author and ensuring this series won't get axed!

You can buy it from Bookwalker (kindle) or Amazon (kindle and physical copy)

I wonder if Haruna will be able to truly save Shuri. It's looks like she may be fully corrupted. I believe Haruna will have to make a horrifying choice for the the greater good.

Thanks for the translation.

I truly loved every one of her stories. This is going to leave a wound that runs incredibly deep.
This is what Mahou Shoujo truly means.

Thank you for all your hard work.

So it's pretty obvious that the first magical girl that end up there got corrupted and was found to be a very useful tool by the demon so they purposely went around corrupting every single magical girl as they showed up and that's why everyone thinks the magical girls are monsters.

You know, I'm starting to think shuri might have a point because 50% of the people seem to be a scumbag towards Haruna for no reason other than the magical girl rumours, and in general they just behave scummy, these two adventurers have it coming at them if shuri blows them up.
But as the ideal magical girl Haruna will punch through it all to protect smiles... maybe. I can only congratulate the author because in every chapter I feel I'm being ragebaited to the point of understanding how a magical girl might get corrupted in this world.

There has to be a reason why Shuri acts like that in this world. Maybe something happened in their original world?

Haruna would break the transformation item, bind Shuri's arms and legs, and carry her around kicking and screaming before killing her lol.

I think what we are seeing is a continued truth of humans. We may have temporary thanks for what somebody does for us but if it goes against our views its only right that they help us because we are worthy.

I think what this is all going to be is a reckoning for Haruna to realize not everybody is worth sacrificing for and sometimes you have to love yourself more than you love others which Shuri seems to be. I bet when we learn Shuri's story she tried to help was forced into being an enemy and suffered while originally helping humanity that probably kept escalating as they made their own monster.

I... Don't agree with this Aesop. Selfishness is inherently destructive, and we can see it with Shuri: even before she went to the other world, she was already a selfish brat, and it doesn't seem like she has fundamentally changed. My guess is that she didn't care to question the demons when they proposed something that went along with her interests, and willfully let herself be corrupted.

On the other hand, blind idealism is just as often very dangerous, and leads to a lot of suffering. We can see it with the number of wounds and treasons Haruna suffers. Plus, it isn't helped that she refuses to adapt her discourse, staying rigidly into her "Magical Girl" framework. If I had to guess, her most pressing issue isn't that she is overly altruistic (she ended up convincing Emy in the previous arc, after all), but that she lacks any flexibility and that she is bullheaded.

Man even by 'betrayed by the party' manga standards these adventurers are idiots. She flat out spells it out, even.

...That was totally a soul gem Shuri was incubating in.

Shuri's got a reason, or controlled, or something. She at least hasn't given reasons and Haruna just ignored it.

If you can't even gauge people's true strength and their movement, no wonder those two are just... rookie and her senior
