I really like that both the king and first prince genuinely care for the princess but aren’t murder hobos trying to kill the guy she likes. That’s pretty rare

and. As for the prince not being genuinely scummy, that’s surprising but it makes sense. Mc has no interest in being king so clearly this series has to have someone to take the throne now that he’s marrying the princess
