This is a little strange. The summoners tried to bind the demon king with magic, and it was reflected back upon them. The summoners don't know how to release their own bindings? They should know, and that info could be relayed to the demon king, so he could release them. If they don't know, is there not a summoner's guild, like there's a magician's guild? This feels like a weak plot device to artificially increase tension.

It more like no one ever researched how to undo the bindings because of how much damage could be done if this happened this will practically make summoners less reliable think if someone figure out to use it to in combat summoners become garage just like in game.

P.S. the magicians guild technically is the summoners guild because that would consider summoners to be magicians because they think any other magic is useless but that only because they don’t train it enough this world priorities ones life and safety first so they think summoners are they strongest since they can be used as shields to escape.

It’s a comparison of a world(game) that prioritizes power and a world prioritize safety. The former is going to be stronger than the latter.
The part that confuses me is it seems like this world is constantly under threat from the fallen so strength is needed to survive. A theory that might work is they don’t have time to become stronger or the chemical elemental magic is weak a con to keep the people weak I have no idea.

I was thinking about jap to eng translation. Was wondering how one would translate the world oneesan into English, considering it can also be used for older than you girl, a word which English doesn't have? It would just be skipped...
