@morpher7th I detest such characters. Naivety to the extreme, it gives me no pity when they end up dying because of their foolishness. However, what pisses me off is when their decisions end up impacting a lot of other people. Then that begs the question, is it true kindness when through such "kindness," more injustice and evil is wrought?

What the? The holy knight also fell into the water and it doesn't even get addressed how he joined up with the others, still fully clad in armor that would have drowned him, not even wet, and suddenly fights together when his priority was and should be to kill the priestess?

He has no motive to kill the boss or clear the dungeon. As soon as the priestess died, he could turn around and leave.

But well, it didn't make sense for him to clear all the trials and catch up to the party in the first place with the headstart and the best guide possible they had.

Regarding Lunamachina, yes, the only reason she saved him was because Diablo wasn't around.
Had Diablo been there he would no doubt finished him off as an act of mercy seeing him injured and Lunamachina would have claimed it was divided punishment enacted by Diablo.
