@SotiCoto: Soldier mentality. "Yes, we're going to die, but we die as heroes because we trade our lives to save the world. Let's show them what we're about!" Is the shorthand of that speech. Believe it or not, a lot of soldiers don't mind dying if their death will be an honorable. And to sacrifice our lives to save innocent ones is totally worth it.
Yeah, Galford is a grade A1 prick, but if he did this speech before a big battle against Al Qaeda, it would also have raised morale.

@TwilightFaze yeah you are right I knew that very well but it's not only the US army when I was conscripted in my country's army Egypt for one year I was deployed to Al Arish in North Sinai with the counter terrorism most soldiers I met didn't care about dying they thought it's honor for the one to die for god and home country and became a martyr and it wasn't only the Muslims soldiers but the Christians soldiers too all thought the same way even though most of us were conscripted only for 1 to 3 years

All of his HP potions... It's kind of a miracle Diablo could keep playing his role in the original game. But then again, he didn't have anyone to give HP potions to in the game, being an obligate loner.
