also, as you saw from the owl, most Demons do have free will, only Edelgart is dead set on following the Demon lords orders.

@Askun if they cant take refugee in a town where Rem has high ranking connections, and Diablo already intimidated the Local Lord, and its far away in the outskirts of the kingdom to have almost no precense from the Church, The Nobles and Royal army itself, why would going to another town fix any issues with krum?
@Yamibi there are several twists coming, but this chapter concludes the first big arc of the series so its a good dropping off point if the story doesnt hold your interest anymore.
@DaffyDuck series has not ended, we just barely finished the 3rd volume and theres 10 in the series.

Demon lord has a castle rigth? At least an abandoned castle that not a lot of demon around. They can't go there and made the problem more complicated and that Bunny Girl become Enemy instead of aly.. I mean .. i really want to see her and diablo fight with her full power.
