interesting that labyrinths 'eat' ppl, tho interesting to use 'prey' when it's usually adventurers/ppl willing to fight, as opposed to say, an 11 year old who doesn't know any better and accidentally wanders in (tho i imagine the fee at the gate is to prevent that) Although other than it being 'newer' or seemingly dangerous you'd think there'd be a handful of teams interested in checking it out versus it needed to be requested of MC's party, versus it being something a level 1 newbie can't handle

My pet theory, when such systems are introduced, is that the labyrinth/dungeon wants to eat a "nutrition-rich" food. The 11 years old, level 1 kid is not as good as the xy old, level 30 adventurer. Michio said in this chapter the monsters above 12th floor are progressively harder, which would sugggest the lower floors are flooded with mob monsters used to "fatten the livestock" and also prey on their inadequacies like greed, pride, impatience etc.. Only when the adventurers reach a certain floor and are thus "ripe" does the labyrinth get serious and actually try to kill and eat them.

On one hand, the pace is si slow that I'm strongly tempted to read the novel to see what happens next. On the other hand, from the art I've seen from the novel I think the manga style is much better.

We just started the 6th book.
The 1st chapter is called "Meteor Clash" and he will use a AoE Bonus Spell for the 1st time
Chapter 2 is called Bandits, and they will be attacked by bandits in the 12th floor of one of the labyrinths.
Chapter 3.....Miria.

it will take a long time. They develop a shit ton before introducing all the other girls. So yeah even of we got a season 2 or even 3, chances are the third girl, the cat girl, wouldn't be introduced so soon...

Funny thing. That question is also relevant to the Light Novel.
It took a few hundred chapters or something to get to the full harem in the Web Novel, and the Light Novel's nowhere near where we left off in the Web Novel.

Not true, Light Novel already ahead of Web Novel. Technically LN catch up to WN during first half of vol 12, now volume 13 is a bit ahead, judging by synopsis they cleared their first dungeon in vol 13.

Huh, we got a new chapter title now. I'm really wondering what was the point of the previous chapters having title "Cassia", which was the duke's wife's name. Not that I was expecting ntr. But she didn't even appear that much.

Dang, we are 89 chapters in and he still doesn't have a 3rd harem member yet. Gotta give the manga credit and it's doing it's best to flesh out characters and the world.

I just wish these chapters came out faster. I needs me some more lore

The manga is really slow paced. Sherry first appeared in ch 37. And by ch 71, she only have joined the party for 11 days.
I don't know how many days has it been now in ch 89, but a new harem member might be too early if it's based on the days.

book 4.. but 1st chapter...20% of the book.
That makes 16 Chapters (5 per book). By the same pattern, a 2nd anime season should reach chapter 32..7th book
Miria comes in chapter 28, so yes, she should be there. Then, Vesta in chapter 40, and Rutina in chapter 55.
