It's cheaper. Teleport service is per person in the party. So if he took the three of them, even if they weren't physically with him, he would pay for all three. This way, he is going solo and can return at a later date with only his mana as a cost.
That's incorrect. Its per person that traveled. The reason he disbanded instead is that the norm is to join the party of the adventurer your hiring to take you. And that he doesn't know the chant for party formation do to chant omitting, as they clearly know the chant they would notice real easily if he didn't chant or did it wrong. So he just disbands to avoid the problem.

Like I said, I'm not sure what she is, but she's certainly not a dwarf like Sherry. Even if we put her skin tone and ear shape aside as variations, that doesn't explain the height: she is literally half the height of a person. Sherry is only slightly lower than a person.
I would say halfling is the most likely candid, she is certainly not a goblin.

Someone already mentioned that she's not a goblin, but she plausibly could have been. There are plenty of fantasy settings where there are both evil/feral and good/civilized versions of traditionally "monster" races.

While true in general, As a WN reader there hasn't been any instances of goblins existing at all, not even as monsters. I honestly am almost certain dwarf do to MC collecting races for his harem. But also I just don't recall what details they gave about that adventurer if any even were. If it wasn't a race he had in his harem, and also one he didn't want he would have said somthing or noted it. That said I think this was a case of the artist filling in a blank with a generic race, and I so I doubt they would use goblin or any other that they would need to ask the author ok on. Goblins would be risky as they often are monster only or just evil, Halfling I put on the table as worst case they arnt a thing in world and can be passed off as a small dwarf.

It can only be a dwarf if Sherry is outstandingly tall for her race and that girl outstandingly short. But why would the artist do that? That's just confusing. It obviously isn't a child and if it was a different subrace of dwarf, I feel like it would have been mentioned.

A gnome would have been my second guess after goblin. Then halfling, like you said. But doubtful, because halflings are super-rare in Japanese work. An original race or some obscure D&D race would probably be more likely than that.

But yeah, if she's some one-off character, it can be a case of the artist just having fun and drawing someone cute without thinking too deeply about it in the context of the world.

It is 100% a one off character. As for the difference between her and Sherry if also a dwarf, a lot of artist draw dwarfs more like that so very easily could be just artist liberties. For a anime dwarf Sherry is a lot taller than average after all. Also you mentioned a D&D race being more likely, halfling is one of the core playable races in D&D (the core are the most basic ones, its a very short list with human elf, dwarf, gnomes and a few others, for more obscure you would draw from the advance player guide or other expansions, not even orc is on the base list or even any beastkin race, though half orc is.)Thats is actually why I mentioned it, gnomes often end up with the cone hat or the goggles and what not if just left to artist making a quick design for a one off. The author is very much a min max player of games, so I kind of suspect he would lean towards a artist with similar interest, maybe even one he has gamed with. I'm not 100% but pretty sure D&D isn't as known in Japan do to other tabletop games being the go to. But there have been a few times that it came off that the author is a D&D fan.
One thing the author actually seemed annoyed at several times was terms like slight and moderate boosts to stats instead of hard numbers, as he had the MC get annoyed at them several times. If you ever play any of the rpg maker games that came out of Japan the pain of these terms will drive you nuts. So much deal slight __ damage, which when you have dozens of skills figuring out which ones are worth the mp costs and which ones arn't sucks. As a min maxer author seems to hate that trend and its one reason I think he shift from the more typical Japanese table tops and leans more to western table top games.

When Michio gave Sherry money to buy mirrors in the Light Novel he gave her 80 hundred nars, not 55 thousand. They bought a large mirror with a stand for themselves for 55 silver and a small mirror for 35 silver which they resell to the Duchy of Harz. Or in other words 80 hundred nars...

No nether of them have the adventure class as it requires a manual shift from explorer to adventure and can't be gained through combat or any other natural method. Changing classes is not a simple matter and once you do so it tends to lock you out of others. That is what makes the MC so op is that he can change his and others class to any they have unlocked.
Roxanne's default class is Beast warrior and Sherry's is master blacksmith, both of this are race exclusive. And we also know for a fact Sherry is currently in her blacksmith class as she used item box, which only a few classes have access to (explorer, cook, blacksmith)
So to answer your question it would be fine if he entered after someone brought him there, he just cant after only he Sherry and Roxanne came through the portal as none of them have the skill that was seen used.
Also if they check his ID and a guard happens to recognize him later as he come through the portal they will expect him to have changed to adventure from explorer. This would lock him into keeping adventure as his main class which would hurt a lot as his bonus points total is based on his first set class, so he wants to keep explorer his highest level as first, and if he has items in his item box (explorer has the highest slot limits) he can't swap explorer around class order wise. So he would want to swap back, but if he is id as a adventure and later as a explore it would record him as having quite being a adventure back to a explorer. This is something others can do, but it permanently locks adventure. So if that gets noted down it could be recorded that he can't be a adventurer. So there are a ton of reasons why he is warry of id checks. Its one thing if the slave merchants see, as they don't see him fight or really keep tabs on what he can do. But the knights are another story, he doesn't want them knowing his class as they may question why he can do certain things, namely why he can warp.
This city is a pain to him do to how strict their security is, and how he has to warp in front of the guards who will id him.
Adventurer and Great Hero both get 50 X 50 item boxes too.

Um, Hero doesn't have a item box skill, only has really good stats and overwhelm, if great hero is a class later I am unaware of it. Adventurer on the other had yeah am pretty sure they have a item box, if its a 50 x 50 one I am not sure.

Correct, Great Hero is the advanced class of Hero and gets an item box.

The Palmasque picture is nice, but somehow I remember the same irl scene in a picture from the Internet.
But the drawing is still beautiful. (pic 22)
