It'd great to re-read this on mangadex as a whole instead of reading it on a tab and looking at bookwalker on the other for the nipples.

I could be wrong, couse its been awhile since i read the novel but i dont think he got the discounts "becouse i like your face " ( aka possibly mind manipulation) as much as he have done in the manga.
Its possible that it was changed or again, i could just remember wrong.
Page 4 and 5 of chapter 18 actually explains his initial theory on how the skill works abit.
Also in chapter 7 we see him use the skill himself when he temporarily becomes a merchant.
And yeah, the moral implication of using the skill is kind of dubious.
He is essentially scamming people out of money.
Its not theft as he does buy the items for the price they ask for, its just that he can fool them into thinking its worth less.
And also he is have been a criminal from day 1 after stealing a pair of shoes so.....
morally grey zone and all that....


Also you were right, he learns that skill slots are a thing back in chapter 3.
But he dont learn how to actually use them until now as this is the first time he sees a skill card.
He only noted that the merchant were unable to see the skillslots and that it did not change the price on the items.

@ringo_juusu they already did, check the chapters you want in the soseki scans, you will see the older ones are uncensored, only the most recent ones are not, the last one they uncensored is 26

I think the balance is tilting to the smut side though... I still like the manga but to me the most interesting part is the dungeon exploration and how we are 30 chapters in and the MC isn't on the level of gods yet, that's a little unusual in Isekai genre IMO

@Dabaha Well, that's not this manga. The synopsis didn't talk about him obtaining a cheat skill. I think it's an "ordinary" isekai, not a "cheat skill" isekai.

@Goldenzeal There is also a guy in ch.2 who explicitly mentions "weapons with skills due to blacksmiths using skill crystals", which I thought was pretty explicit. I guess he wasn't paying attention.

its something like " sexual maniac" translations might vary, as you might expect.

it among other things gives him a passive damage bonus that is stronger the longer time he avoid haveing sex and skills like " pimp slap" etc etc.
its basically the author's way of giving a in universe explanation to why the MC stops haveing as much sex as he does now for like a single arc while trying it out.
but he still does it a ton afterwards anyway course at that point he got alot of other good classes anyhow so while the class CAN be really strong, he dont use it alot.....

There is however also.....

a secret cabal of people who also have the skill, so he joins the secret society to get access to free information and stuff.
Witch also leads too....

him later also joining another "secret " society of the rich, highborn, and the nobles ( even the king is part of it ) witch is one of the few commitments that forces him out of the dungeon.
