Since we're on the subject....
I genuinely appreciate the fact that it takes a while for each new member since it gives us time to delve into their character, quirks, and so on as well as establish an actual dynamic with them and how they'd generally interact with the world and characters around them.
... The problem is the pacing... in real life specifically. When you binge it, it's a fine slowburn series that takes its time and establishes things properly without really needing to meander around too much since it's actively introducing things for later payoffs rather than wasting time on side quests that wind up being pointless. It's just that when you get a bunch of chapters that are only like... 8-10 pages on a monthly adaptation it feels painful. It's a shame because the art is fantastic, but when you can go through the last year's worth of chapters in about 20 minutes without skimming anything, it's no surprise the pace is gonna feel glacial to the people who had to wait that out in real time even if it works fine on a story level. Hopefully we'll go back to 20+ pages sooner rather than later but if not and you're feeling like it's dragging, it might honestly be best to just wait half a year or so and then come back for a bulk read.
