See, they only mentioned it once, but the tax in this kingdom is fucking ridiculous. And slaves only pay a fraction of the tax. Her staying a slave is better for taxes
Edit: looked at it, it's 100k per year for citizens. Which was the same as living in a hotel all year. Roxanne was 600k, and basically perfect. Slaves only pay 10k in taxes. She's going to eternally be a slave for tax purposes
