At the risk of being labeled a metal nerd, Stratovarius if fairly well known if you dabble a bit in metal. It's not like the manga is referencing Rigor Mortis or Dark Moor.

It is a good thing though that's it's just referencing Metallica and Iron Maiden or worse, pretending Kiss is metal (though Alex keeps spamming God of Thunder).

Honestly? I can't see this being a very long series. I will not be surprised if it's a tight 3 volumes with him speedmetaling his way right to the demon king and world peace.

Sadly it's either a bad transition to manga or the story itself would need (a lot) of work or a great editor to make it really good :/

I dig the concept, but aside from metal Author Sensei doesn't seem to be quite at a professional level, sadly 🤔
