I'm kinda disappointed that the hunter with herculean strength is getting made into some giant war hammer swinging barbarian. Its just, sigh, so stereotypical? Like, how nice would it be if for once an author realized that bows are not the weapon of spindly weak men like often depicted. The English longbow for example, dominated battlefields for hundreds of years, it was only fazed out by crossbows because you need to be trained to be so strong to use it! They would typically have a bow draw weight of 100-180 pounds. Now, I imagine a person with herculean strength ought to be able to do at least double that. So think of how much more interesting and compelling it would be to read about a 15 year old girl casually carrying around a bow bigger than she is and effortlessly drawing its 400 pound draw weight, to then release it and have the arrow shoot forward at crazy speed punching straight through the plate mail or lamellar armor worn by some orc or something and coming straight out the back, or maybe getting stuck in the armor while half sticking out of the exit wound. Missed opportunity
