the concept of "mana" or the energy that needed for magic weren't properly explained yet, so yeah, i feels this is a bit of ass-pull out of nowhere too.

I agree, it's as if he had no weight. Forgetting about the air speed required to make him "float" (surpassing terminal velocity and other stuff. He'd basically have to simulate a wind tunnel or gravity magic).

But eh, we cannot ask too much from an ISEKAI manga.
