@Randomizer I doubt he could get air to be as dense as lead (it probably isn’t even possible), so we are looking at bullets with even less energy. There are other problems there too, but that might go into how physics work in this story (magic and stuff) and I’m not here to say anything about that.

Huh, its almost like this involves magic, a factor we cant understand, and is fantasy fiction besides so who cares.

Also, Im not going to excuse the logic of him firing all those bullets, but if I had to come up with a reason he could, I'd guess that the process of making a bunch of bullets at once, instead of one by one, and then adding the rotation on ignition all at once might use less energy over all then Making, then spinning, then firing them each one by one. But who knows.

mana bullets are a pretty common skills in rpg games

Like others have said the "bullets" are using a system of concentration. The bullets are concentrated to be hard and he concentrates to fire them. Magic covers the density of the bullets as it always does when magic does things that don't seem to make sense, so arguing that it won't work is kinda wrong. It is working after all, even if we don't know how it could. Him being able to cast it seems like a max limit that favors bigger spells over smaller ones. Basically its like in an rpg you cast a single target spell for 5 mana but against a group you cast an aoe/multi target spell for 15 mana. The second spell can strike more than 3 targets and can even do as much damage in most cases. So he blew all his mana at once and overworked himself to cast a big spell, went into negative numbers and suffered damage for it.

Its an odd system but its nothing i haven't seen before in various games and even other stories. He's also an MC so he gets to do cool shit sometimes.

PS: The god of magic may have helped him given his current situation.

Again, "constant speed". It means that cylinder does not get stopped by tissues, but instead continues to fly as if nothing had happened.
There is no need to make it as dense as a lead in order to give it as much kinetic energy as possible - it's energy supply is already infinite - it never accelerates or decelerates.
Now just densify air enough, so that it can be touched. If you don't do that, individual air molecules would will go right through the body, making a corresponding bodypart into a bloody piece of porridge, without spreading impulse to other parts of an organism and causing an increase of hurtness there as well.

@Randomizer That's would explain things properly... if you, Randomizer, are the author. The author himself hasn't explained it that way yet in the translated material we currently have. He deliberately made use of the shape of a bullet when any thin projectile would have worked if your explanation is correct; it's reasonable for the reader to assume that standard bullet logic applies.

Still no good reason to make shit up in lieu of the author to try and explain his magic bullshit, and then act like its gospel.

I'm just explaining that its reasonable a reader with at least half a brain and a microscopic amount of knowledge about guns might assume that an author wouldn't go out of his way to utilize the concept of a bullet in his turd of a fantasy novel/manga and then completely ignore everything that makes a fucking bullet work. Because that's fucking retarded. Why the fuck not use any other fucking projectile then; a flying wind dildo will work the exact same way because """ITS MAGIC LUL XDDDDDD"". At least the author will make this crap slightly funnier that way.

Also when an author starts throwing random ass numbers to give his nonsense the illusion of realism, people will start questioning the logic behind it, like it or not.
