I only gave this manga a chance because I was hoping he would take the chancellor's head. If he really loves his girl, then he won't stand for the threat that hangs over her.

I love those rare isekai moments when the MC is in my own head.
Great to not see some stunted MC who can only exist as some kind of arrogant doormat; demanding that others take his money, prestige, belongings, and rewards, while allowing murderers and rapists to assault his (supposed) "friends" and simply walk free in case they might stop after being told how poopy it makes the dead people feel...
