Why does it feel like this is 2 half chapters stitched together in the middle

The pacing in the WN (this chapter of the mange adapts chapters 95 & 96 of the WN) is the same. The early chapters are sometimes very disjointed.
On a postive note the next few chapters are very fluffy so the manga will be too.
