i only took a lesson in archery class... and the way u pull the string is with 3 fingers... using your whole palm for it would make your shot inaccurate because when u let it go the string would touch or stuck on your finger or something like that... but i guess for this one... because the bow is very strong him letting go of that string could make him lose his finger? but i guess using only 3 fingers on a really stronk bow and apparently a heavy arrow (if i did read it right) would be hard... well im only saying this because i like the element of realism
