thanks for the update! i wonder how many ppl would've tried to false-claim their quest although i imagine all the 'tough' looking adventurers from earlier are prolly more so hunter than honey gatherers (i wonder how common 'normal' honey is around there)

Onii has fire magic, Neene has water magic, it was established in the chapter where Chibi made that huge tub for them lol (as well as that 'fire sword' on the volume cover)

Dang 16 mil yen, hopefully no one's closely watching/following them or so. that said i know glass is rare/expensive in this kinda day but unless it's reinforced or so, i'd hope it'd not break easily and a demand for a replacement or so (that said, i guess the type of person who could afford something glass wouldn't be reckless with it versus some bumpy carriage ride or an accident)

I'd imagine the general store wouldn't leak it on purpose but they did say they 'planned' to say it required all three of them so they wouldn't be targeted but it would be hilarious if Chibi could summon like, a flash bang or so to blind someone to run away

interesting how the church is known for being corrupt rather than being fake or so publicly

Of course not, but even with the simpler procedure of the permanent quest you'd just need one greedy adventurer who observes the store (due to the expensive quest with strangely specific requirements) and regularly sees these three kids walk in and out of there and off to the guild, getting loads of cash.

yeah, although other than the lack of money to get started i'd expect a handful of ppl just barely older than onii/neene who are also adventurers trying to get by but hopefully the 'bank deposit' would help (although the extra payment they get for the glass container seems like it could be pocketed without the tax/commission as a cut) but so far it seems like the church might be more 'dangerous' or at least corrupt compared to some adventurer, plus since it's stuck to the board and not taken down i assume they wouldn't know it's those kids every time or so now unless they overhear the talk with the receptionist, if they don't 'turn in the quest' during a time where it's not as crowded or so but i imagine repetition aside, they'll probably attempt to do other 'legit' quests at some point

I skimmed a raw i found and chibi basically gave the husband and wife some fancy watch? which also seems a bit suspicious (esp since i wouldn't think watches existed in that time period/ppl like them probably wouldn't have watches or at least a pocket watch) but it didn't go far beyond that
