The bees would usually fly a certain distance away from their nest without going to any particular flower to drink until they're on their return trip. Also its very simple to make a off road scooter, you just make the wheels bigger, With a wheel about as big around as a football(soccerball) on the front and back they work pretty well in very uneven terrain. A friend had one growing up and we used it on mountain trails, was a lot of fun.
