Carpenters have been doing small minute detail work for hundreds of years without any need for magic tools or modern tools. I'm sure that a carpenter with magic tools would be able to do stuff on the level of a carpenter with modern tools.

but at least in this story world building. The War has been so great that most of crops is just for food only and people just focus on suvive to tomorrow.
i think in state of war most craftmen would be gear only to constrution work. so put them on small detail work instantly is probably impossible and took to much time + cost to do so.
cause let just think of current state of the world as dark-age post-roman collaph. so many POV of this story (in novel) usaully have people say they go though hard time due to war/survive farmine and didn't even have time to focus on small thing like VC.
that and this is like a few year in when VC introduce new stuff, realisticly i think we need to give craftmen a time to learn how to produce thing at least.

Magic thing seem to be mostly in-universe elite snob. people who good at magic probably not gonna try to be a craftman. even more so for artwork.
later on i am pretty sure they have state that the situation of artist that would be great at art work is hard sideline due to war and need to be partonize by very few noble.

Now that I think about it it could just be that other Craftsman just can't make it due to the fact that the god of games was sealed. It could still be that everyone in the world is suffering the lingering effects of the fact that the god of games was sealed away but now that he has been properly sealed away in the form of a cat it could be that the effects are slowly going to fade.

That's just humans being humans though, the demon god didn't influence them. Until recently he was still sealed under the forest, barely managed to control some undeads to do his bidding.
The main reason creator god transfered MC to this world was because civilization has been stagnant for a long time, so he wanted to inject some new stimulant.

nah later on story show on human side and most of them just confuse why they even death war demon on the first place and shit themself try to end war. but they didn't know other kingdom also in that state too and afraid they will be single out and attack due to being only one wanting peace.

it litterally show dark dragon make peace and several demon conspiracy just confess after VC purify demon god.

and creator god cleary show time and time again that he just didn't intend on anything VC do, it just happy conisident. dude just incompetent at job and acidetentally create miracle. he just forgot the state of the world when he send VC there.

well, since the village has several individuals with power equals to nukes, i'd say let the invasion come

Hiraku can at least create a blueprint for the tiles so that all 136 designs are accounted for, but carving does take a looot of time

I'd assume such custom pieces would include the material choice.

Heck the whole precision stuff might be the craftsmen's excuse to not admit they can't so much as work with forest of death's tree so any pieces they make would always have that implied inferiority compare to the sets made by MC.

It's also possible that after he works them with his tool they are no longer really a material that can be found in the world. Which means they're impossible to replicate.

Anyways every time MC plans for the future after he is gone I have to wonder if he'll ever actually be gone. Finding out his healthy body actually lasts forever or that he becomes a demigod from the villagers reverence towards him or something just seem like obvious outcomes.
