@Keinart
Nah the medal solution was ok, but the author had no idea how to implement it properly, and finally enjoying seeing this series crash around the ideals that the author set up, now that he actually has to think about it instead of just glossing it over.

@degenerateafro I assume he isn't the one writing out their objectives, Frau probably thinks he needs them for the farming. Who would ever willingly give up a super harem that can be seen from space?

@givemersspls Obviously, it's what you do when people are starving around you while you eat, it's upsetting, so it's better to send them away, to not see them staring at your meal. Maybe when there's some free time, you can look into addressing their concerns.

@givemersspls He won't be incapacitated. Remember in the first chapter one of his wishes besides a body that would never become sick was to live peacefully. While you can be incapacitated and still live peacefully it would go against the spirit of his wish since he was always hospitalized in his original world he wanted to be an active farmer in this world. Thus the situation where this manga won't have any real conflict since it would go against one of the MCs primary wishes.

Meh. I still don't get how the whole medal thing is going to work, when each citizen only gets 3. So each medal is 33% of their income, or quite a bit of money. How do they conduct transactions at sub-medal values? If they barter for goods/services, then what's the point of the medals in the first place? Couldn't they just have made regular coins instead?

But before resolving that, the very next chapter they decide to make a new village and populate it with a ton of men? WTF is the sense in that? Why not just start with a few men, and see how it goes?

Also, while LH has always prioritized quantity over quality, it looks like they didn't proofread this chapter at all.

it's really weird how the author comes up with these dumb ideas, but then the characters in the story immediately find ways to exploit them. it's like there's another person constantly trying to poke holes in the rules made up by someone else. I hope author-sensei doesn't have some severe mental issues.

I'm surprised they haven't tried some form of sugar or candy yet... I guess dried fruit and such would only be available if he didn't have any left over to trade to outsiders...

I feel like he could have made fiefdoms where he cleared the fields first and then the crops will grow in the soil he's worked the first time... then the best farmers could be recruited back to the mega farm?

I... can't actually imagine how something bad could happen to MC, who was able to easily fend off dragons...
Food poisoning, perhaps?

> we need more males in this village
> why not make a new village and place them there?
> GOOD IDEA!

sorry, but that's not really a good idea....

My guess that since the story needs him to stay in his village-sized harem but the farm needs men. It won't be just a village of implied segregated men slaving the fields but a second village would be a normal village. And being separated allows it to have a normal ratio with a normal gender dynamic allowing for a sustainable future he wants, but the story (and the MC) still dealing with way too many women.

King: Let's have democracy!
The People: No.
King: But...
The People: Democracy is the will of the people, right?
King: . . .

you know why harvest moon and rune factory are great game? because you made you have freedom deciding what to do with your own farm

this manga turns into those game but instead play by yourself, you watch youtuber play it

it's fucking boring now, i dont know how the heck the publisher still want to publish this series
That may be so, but even I often find watching playthroughs more enjoyable, and sometimes more memorable, than playing the game myself.

Also, didn't the high fantasy genre in Japanese media almost entirely stem from a certain long running magazine column (later novels) documenting a group of geeks playing a hella long D&D campaign?
