Honestly what she is saying makes sense. If you have the laborers village up stream, they can create a damn and block water to you, so you definitely want them downstream. Also they could poison / pollute the water without affecting their water. So everything about the location of the sub village makes sense. However with his wolves and spiders guarding the village, it is HIGHLY unlikely that any of that is necessary. For one thing poison doesn't work on him (not that the High Elves know that). For another thing the AFT could probably work as a water purifier considering it's other uses. Plus it would give him the opportunity to make a charcoal filter.

I'd thought it'd be Testament of Sister Devil but the MC name doesn't add up.
