the wn liked to do that randomly, when the mc suggested to do something "minor" they would time skip to show just how much of an impact it had later on. Kind of neat tbh since novels will often say that what they did had an impact much later on, but you never see by how much since the story ends long before they ever get that far.

Regarding the timeskips, i think they're not full timeskips forwards but instead show the results of his actions in the future as the next chapter goes back to the proper time regarding the previously mentioned gathering of extra angels.
