@HDMI1 the centaurs are clearly interested on MC, he just didnt take that step (yet). Either way, he'd reward the RESPONSE GROUP, it doesnt have to be the members of said village. He could send anyone to deal with the problem, like a group of angels (that can get there fast).

Although to be fair, in all they themselves seem to be much more interested in being ridden the usual way.

I know what the Slice Of Life genre is, and I enjoy some of them, but this manga often goes too much into explanation that I just honestly dont bother to read most of the time. :'/

each race should only have 1 representative!
kinda like sms vote, but more transparent and not using too much money just for useless sms

he also should make a flare, with some types for different emergency
