Yeah other than criticizing the gov or maybe something offensive/racist towards other countries a lot of ppl are fine separating the fantasies since i think i saw one Chinese webtoon where the main chara basically 'stole' other ppl's powers by killing them/being a sociopathic serial killer so i guess there's not too many censors then again online webtoons might be diff than trying to go to a local publisher and getting chinese teens/readersThere is a surprising ammount of translation going on in both directions. Just look at the kerfuffle with WebNovel and NU a few years back as an example. But you're likely correct that whole genres are being filtered out to be more compatible with their ideals.
