Uncle is definitely not going to bring elf to our world.

It would either be something like:

• Something tragic happened to Elf-san.
• Uncle returned to our world to flee from Elf-san.(Elf San eventually manages to find uncle anyway through sheer emotion)
• A tragic thing happened to Elf-san but she actually ended up fine and shows up to the shock of Uncle.

Either way, if Elf finds uncle, I am certain it will be on Elfs own efforts, unless somehow Uncle accidently does something to break the world.

MAL does not have a tragedy tag nor a similar replacement.
However, after reading all external links, I don't see any with such. It may be none of them have such a tag (though Manga Updates really is unrestricted with its tag cloud).

Originally (having followed this since chapter 6) I thought the translators knew something we did not, but apparently this is the original source, no ln... so...

Ok, apparently people added it right around chapter 6. I guess between ch. 1, the whole being sold for less than a scrub brush, lynching, and doing whatever he did to Mabel in ch 6 (honestly its harder to read the second time around), the community added it.... It can probably be removed? Someone more familiar with why it was added should review.

I think a series typically has an owner responsible for editing the page/tags/description (iirc, one of the solutions proposed to eliminate tag fights and stop constant romaji/english title name swaps). Ask on the discord and they may be able to direct you to it and give an explanation or reconsider the tag
