Page 34: "We will defeat it." When I read that and saw Uncle holding the sword, I immediately thought that Magatsu had taken him over and was using the royal "we". He's not using the same font/typeface, though. Then I double-checked, and Magatsu never even USED the royal "we". So maybe Magatsu is working together with Uncle temporarily, or something else happened.

I saw someone suggest that Magatsu might have taken over the dragon or somehow caused its transformation, but I can't imagine he would just abandon the sword that's necessary for his possession to work, so why is Uncle carrying it if that's the case?

Also, this manga is really good at creating tension. That's doubly impressive considering we're watching all this effectively through a flashback, so we know Uncle, at least, pulls through.
