I can't help focusing on the plot.

I also like how the author build the mystery in this manga.
Though I don't know where the new girl came from and how she could sneak so close to the MC.

At the first episode, the guild told them their duty is only surviving for one day in that other world, nothing more. Probably that's why.

Like it makes ZERO SENSE to leave them there. They basically have no survival skills other than the random stuff they learned from him. Not to mention they have no weapons either.

Strategy wise I get where he is coming from. Leave the weaker members at the somewhat safer location with the supplies while the stronger members scout the dangerous areas ahead.

The only tactical error -- not setting up a second-in-command that everyone trusted. Which is saddening.

He either got too impatient and made a move. Or He came to the understanding that these girls are hindering progress and made a hard choice.

But I still don't blame him for sneaking out, absolutely no one was going to voluntarily let him go. Those girls know they bring little to no help to the table, aside stress relief.

Anyway, I hope the girls will trust him to comeback later and just wait while doing their best. Can't wait to see what new girl is all about though. Definitely skilled, but how skilled and why is the question.

So the other people had to have been taken(or whatever happened to them) not long after MC's group left, the reason I say this is that the 'plan' was to have everyone stay there for just 1 day, but we know that it's been at least 5 days, but could already be a week and I think it's unlikely that they all had more then 2 days worth of food given the whole '1 day only' plan, so with them finding so much food it would make sense for whatever happened to have happened on that first night but at the latest before the second night.
