@Saronite , I think it was less out of compassion for the guy but rather wanting to get answers he might have as the only other summoned person from his world he's met. However from what we've seen in this chapter, there's a good chance he might have been coerced into doing all that stuff.

@Atrusnex that would make sense, but shouldn't his expression be more frustrated instead of worried? And if the guy was coerced into doing all those things, he certainly looked like he had fun in his job. They may have coerced him to kill those people (and maybe coerced him to rape them too, although it sounds to me like he chose to do that on his own), but i doubt they could've coerced him to do it with such a big smile on his face.
