Well in this one it's more of a labor contract, he needs to pay her wages, give her a place to stay and food, for her and Aria. Seriously, just read the EULA you don't own anything, your purchase just gets you a license and a contract to pay monthly fees for use of the service, a service that can be cancelled at any time.

The problem is that this is called "slavery" and not "labor contract" or "indentured servitude", as even if in universe it is closer to those things, it is called slavery in universe. That word and system have very heavy implications and im tired of manga that keep waiving them away for the sake of "cute girl" when they could explore the system and its evils to make a more interesting story. Instead, they water it down, accidentally push the "some slaves where better with their masters/slavery isnt that bad" narrative while making the story less interesting

Yeah, those are all good points, I mostly just wanted to make the joke about how the EULA is only a licensing agreement instead of a purchase. It is kind of annoying that slavery is used to avoid character development, shy guy sees a cute girl, "don't worry about asking her out, she's a slave you can just buy her and put her in diet slavery;" random thug stepped on your new shoes and insults your taste in clothes, then just bust him down to forced labor until he dies with hardcore slavery.
