I do have to say, however, that I agree with this sentiment. I haven't read the raws, so I don't know how accurate that frequency of profanity is. (I.e., Japanese doesn't have any profanity; the equivalent, if I recall correctly, is very impolite speech--especially where inappropriate. Context is big in the Japanese language, and just the wrong words used at the wrong time in the wrong way with the wrong person can evoke offense on the level of what Westerners expect from profanity.)

That said, if Erika's language is so rough in the original, I've no qualms with it. If there's nothing indicating the JP equivalent of such rough language, however, it's best to use something more analogous to what she actually said.
