All these isekai mangas about merrit vs privilege are so incredibly boring. Reality is not like this. In a meritocracy those without ability get bullied. But that never comes up in fiction because somehow it seems it's okay if people get bullied because they are "losers".

You should stay true to the original, rather than trying to alter it to make it "more understandable" to english readers...
If someone is referred to as Teacher before their name, so should it be.
