That’s always fun. One of my favorite revenge side stories is I Decided to Cook Because the Potion Was Soy Sauce. Basically mc is a woman in the midst of a divorce sent to another world. And every few chapters we check back in on the husband who’s life has gone to hell Now that his wife isn’t doing his cooking and cleaning

I think it's more that he didn't care about managing the domain at all, so her mother took it on herself to do the management because otherwise things would quickly deteriorate (and the did).

I have no clue how this guy functions. I mean, it says he stopped pretending to be kind once he had married into the family, but I'm not sure he even cares about the money. We don't see him living a lavish lifestyle (he's not growing fat, nor adorning himself with jewels, nor chasing women as far as we can see, nor has he stopped seeking military achievements). He just doesn't want to do anything that requires thinking (like politics or managing the servants and the domain or taking care of a child) and which isn't fighting monsters. I'm guessing that the only, and actual, reason he married into this family was the title and leading the margrave's armed forces to battle (which I guess is why he needed the wealth - an army isn't cheap), because it seems he already had everything he ever wanted before getting married.

i think that's kinda what it's hinting at as she looks across the room, but doing it before she's ready to leave is probably not the best choice so she might do it in the next or so chapter.

who knows really i feel like this trope is very common with issekai plots where the new wife and her kid somehow can just do whatever they want without much happening to them until the MC is ready for their revenge

Hopefully the MC doesn't go back into the royalty club because imo this all happened because royalty was retarded and let this dude marry this important noble family instead of just shoving him into the front line of w.e fight to die
