@TheodoreAnan Funny enough, the author said in his FB post that "I swear I wrote this part's script since last year😅", covid just really accelerate things like exposing government incompetencies and corruptions in Thailand that pretty much any "government building" stories would looks like a commentaries on current government here.

As for why the transporter want to bring an IT hero to bring revolution to that world, it's as he explain, he only got 1 person to sent over that may or may not feels like helping the other world they don't quite belong to, so it's better to bring someone that can set things up for other people in that world to built on and cause the revolution themselve.
Technology alone isn't going to end dictatorship, but if you can only bring 1 change to that world, it's probably the best shot you could make.

Finally a view on world development that makes more sence than "repeat a cycle of a destruction and rebuild after the hero defeats the demon lord".

I like how he explains that a kingdom system isn't all that bad considering the state of technology.

@le3
I think she's more pissed about him not getting to the point, when she had to write this report by hand. I know, I would be.

I mean if we're going by real world history what they need most are the printing press (dissemination of ideas, obv), coffee(so that philosophical discussion will be under the effect of a stimulant rather than a depressant like alcohol), guns(require comparatively short training time so peasants can successfully use them against knights, therefore gucci for revolucci), enough time for things to happen, and enough separate states that no matter what idea is being considered somebody will provide its philosophers safe harbor (revolutionary philosophers tend to get chased out of countries or flee to avoid imprisonment, ex. Voltaire).

So there's Anna nearly accidentally letting slip that the stuff she did with that other lady wasn't entirely for the job

@jazck Direct democracy also works, but on a smaller scale. Iceland and Switzerland are a couple of examples that come to mind, both from way back in the medieval era.

But I reckon they can send pretty much anyone, since the god doesn't seem to have a clue. Probably a light novel writer would be best, who could just write fancy stories for the god that the god could use for bragging (lying about) at some godsmeet or other, since that seems to be the gods purpose for this whole particular ordeal to begin with. XD

The author really has done his research on history, economics, politics, sociology and psychology!

Uhm, the guy was talking about the US, Rome and the Iroquois Confederacy; maybe you guys hating on him and trying to scarecrow him as 'self centered' should be the ones expanding your perspective by actually reading his post.
