Fun fact if you remove walking, which the series often does, you are left with just isekai! A low tier genre, just like this manga, that requires a lot of work from the author to be good.

The eyes are probably just someone tasked with keeping an eye on him no? I dont see why the kingdom would ever just let him be sure he didn't have an OP skill like the rest of the heros but he is still someone from an entirely different world so keeping a watch would make sense.

There's "You apparently have no useful combat related skills, so we're going to keep an eye on you to make sure you're safe, but you're free to do whatever within law. Cya." and "GTFO and don't come back, we're gonna spy on you from the shadow and if by any chance you will be better than supposed to be, cut you down just in case, because that would prove king's incompetence.".
