The spirit has had a neuter pronoun for the entirety of the manga, and the readers, as well as the characters, have known IT to be such from the very beginning. Humanity has been referring to animals with neuter pronouns since the very inception of the middle-english language, but now, more than 700 years later, it's apparently a confusing and contested concept.

If you need someone to be in the wrong, let it be me. I forgot that in chapters 4 and 17 the spririt was already referred to as 'he', and somehow thought that I had to use 'they' instead (?). So, yeah...

Yay, Sora is saved! It seems though, even if he does heal faster because of Natural Recovery Improvement, he doesn't heal THAT much faster. Still, being able to walk around after 2 days of rest after a fatal injury like that is amazing. Thanks, fluffy spirit!

The caravan owner is very thankful to Sora for sacrificing his health for the quest. And for that, he confidently can give the quest confirmation to him!

Even though Sora's enthusiastic about getting back into the thick of things, the girls disagree and drag him back to the inn to rest. Buth Rurika and Chris know they aren't strong enough after the previous monster encounter. So perhaps training a bit before leaving is the best thing to do. Maybe in the month to follow, things can progress between Chris and Sora?
