Mam, you slay in that outfit, but let's not kid ourselves: there's absolutely no sneaking around in that.

And the secret is a map of the other stone villages, which basically confirms they're a rogue tribe specifically denying the peace the stone people have chosen. Whether they're recruiting or intend to fatten their bloodline with more stone people, this will solve their manpower issue.

As of Chapter 37. This is gonna be short. I apologize for being a little late on this one. I’ve been very busy this weekend with things like translating the Standard & Deluxe Editions for The Behemoth Bridegroom Volume 3. Anyway, let’s begin:

Nazuna: Sōdaya’s Current Chief of Transport, and Watari’s daughter. Nazuna hired Isaza & Yachiho to help disguise them as they continued their search for Kaji’s murderer, and his stolen key to the Waku Family’s archives on Tamashiro’s behalf. Nazuna’s father, Watari, was framed for murder, and then executed on false murder charges. She, and Tōshin conducted their own investigation.

One year into their investigation, Nazuna & Tōshin learned from Kaji Waku’s former servant that Yuuki’s retainer was the one who killed Itoyori’s retainer, Watari was merely a witness to the murder. Watari brought Yuuki’s retainer with him to Kaji Waku’s mansion to discuss the matter, and prevent a possible war between both factions from occurring. But Kaji murdered Yuuki’s retainer, and framed Watari for both murders. The former servant also revealed that Kaji was the one who found the Waku Family’s 2nd Daughter, Tamashiro alive. He urged Nazuna & Tōshin to investigate Tamashiro. When Nazuna & Tōshin delivered oil to Tamashiro’s mansion, they took this opportunity to spy on Tamashiro & Kaji. Not only did they learn that Tamashiro wasn’t Sanza’s biological daughter, but she’s also a former courtesan. Kaji was plotting to poison Sanza, and “reform” Fumine with Tamashiro acting as his puppet Domain Lord. Nazuna & Tōshin killed Kaji to avenge Watari’s death, Tamashiro was the mastermind behind the murder. Nazuna & Tōshin also stole Kaji’s key to the archives behind Tamashiro’s back. She & Tōshin initially planned to steal the other two keys from Isaza & Yachiho in order to find, and secure evidence of Tamashiro’s illegitimacy in the Waku Family archives. In the end, Nazuna entrusted the key to Isaza & Yachiho.
Isaza asked Nazuna's & Tōshin to secure and safely escort Tōgi & his family from Tamashiro’s mansion, and have Mayu order the guards at the archives to stand down.

Tōshin: A blind transporter that works for Sōdaya. He’s been helping Isaza & Yachiho with their search for Kaji’s murderer, and his stolen key to the Waku Family archives. Tōshin is actually a Stone Person. His stone powers are very different from other Stone People. He can only control one small pebble at a time, the small pebble has to be touched by him before it can be controlled.

He was once part of a traveling troupe of entertainers; every member was a Stone Person. After losing his sight, Tōshin was abandoned, and left for dead by the traveling troupe. He was rescued by Sōdaya’s former Chief of Transport, Watari. Despite being a Stone Person, Watari welcomed Tōshin to Sōdaya with open arms. After Watari was framed for murder, and executed on false charges, Tōshin & Nazuna conducted their own investigation.

Stone People (Yomi’s Faction):

Tamashiro Waku
:
Tamashiro is a Hornless, was born as a Stone Person. She’s not Sanza’s biological daughter, and was a former courtesan. Kaji used falsified documents, and hired a professional artist who could replicate & forge Sanza’s handwriting, and signature to further legitimize Tamashiro’s candidacy for Domain Lord. Kaji planned to poison Sanza, and have Tamashiro replace her as a puppet Domain Lord. She’s also the mastermind behind Kaji’s assassination (using Tōshin & Nazuna), 2 of the 3 burglaries, and the murders & fire at Itoyori’s mansion. She currently holds 2 keys to the Waku Family archives (Yuuki & Itoyori’s keys). She doesn’t know that Tōshin & Nazuna were the ones who stole Kaji’s key. She had letters scattered all over Fusō threatening to kill a resident on every passing night until the key is recovered.

She’s also been “watching over” Tōgi & his family in place of Kaji to have Isaza, and Yachiho blindly do her bidding.
She plans to destroy the Waku Family tree.

The unnamed elderly Stone Woman: A long haired no-nonsense Stone Woman with ram’s horns. She may look decrepit and old but she’s incredibly agile, cruel, and dangerous.
Just like Azami, she’s a remote castor that can create and control stone entities or creatures; just like Azami, using their eyes allows her to see things from faraway. The old woman can also drive stones into her victim’s body, and then control them like a grotesque puppet. The puppets can be controlled beyond their joint’s limits, causing them to die very gruesome deaths. Once she relinquishes control or she’s outside of her power’s range, the stones fall off, and her victims die of blood loss.

I’m assuming everyone here is already familiar with Minato, Tōgi, Shizu, and Niinami (though she debuted in this current arc). Otherwise, that’s all for now!

She managed to steal Kaji’s key without getting caugh, didn’t she?

That’s actually a map of Hiwatsu. I think the symbols on the map are markers that reveal possible locations of Kamukata.

Kamukata are those giant “idol” stone prisons for Stone People branded as sinners. Since Chapter 1, Yomi has been interested in finding them, freeing the imprisoned, and then recruit them.

We don’t know yet if Stone People have been living like the Hornless. We don’t know how Yomi views Hornless. Though we learned from Tōshin that some are nomadic.

Probably Solid Snake’s exact thoughts, if he decided to wait a little longer before giving Meryl a signal or killing all of the guards…and then rushes into the bathroom after her…
