As this manga’s translator, I had to wait since last summer for Yachiho to finally return. If I remember correctly Chapter 20.2 came out last December.
I think Hiiragi’s more confused at how Komase and his squad got killed, by presumably the captives. Hiiragi also knows Enami lacks the numbers to even risk sending a rescue team, especially with his men constantly keeping a close eye on Sekizuki Castle. Even wilder, Scarface (the nameless One-Eyed Hawk guy who looks like Redd from Animal Crossing) didn’t even inform Hiiragi about Nagi and her true identity.
