It actually wouldn't be such a simple matter to write an investigation report on himself. If it's nothing but praises, Debora would ignore it, and might even think less of his information gathering ability. So, he would need to write it to be intriguing, maybe just a little bit suspicious to be mysterious, as any competent person doesn't go around flaunting their aces, but not so much that Debora would deem him someone to be avoided. It's another question if he can keep his cool enough when it's Debora he's writing the report to.

Is it really final? I would think he'd just write a report of his praises. Deborah would be suspicious if it's too perfect and too kind a report. "He's clearly hiding something."
Rather, what if he includes a bunch of his flaws. That would make him more sympathetic.
My expectation is the former though. I don't think Isidore is at the point where he decides he can reveal everything, especially that he's the info broker. Short of doing that I don't think Deborah trusts him and the ship won't sail.
