Even if Lily didn't cucked him, he felt like that because of her male friend
Oh shit you're right, they never even addressed that, did they? He's still probably under the assumption that guy is someone she's interested in since she never even made an attempt to dispel his worries about that at all. We know he's a chill guy, or at least from what we've seen, but Hiromi doesn't. So:

1. He thinks Lily is into this other guy, the conflict there is obvious.
2. He knows Tsubasa got a boyfriend out of nowhere. Soon as he figures out that she's actually into him, her having a boyfriend is going to cause conflict and make him think she's being irresponsible.
3. Mio he rejected outright. Conflict obvious.
4. Anju is going to be the worst one. When he finds out that she's the one who sabotaged his relationship with Nonoka... lmfao
5. Yukari, as usual, wants no part of Hiromi's Wild Ride. Problem is, these recent developments are likely leading to a situation that is going to cause some rather fucked-up destabilization in the sharehouse. If she wants her peace preserved, she's going to have to mediate or dip out. I think we're about to see a lot of Yukari with her eyes open.
6. Oh yeah, there's also Hiromi's first ex. She's more than likely going to be relevant in some way again. Some people theorizing she's going to drop a pregnancy bomb on him.

Shit's about to get hilariously ugly if this is a for real break up with Nonoka.

here's an interview with the Author, this sadistic person really find amusement from readers malding anger
Honestly it's fine, having a fun romance is never the goal with these type of author. There are many other stories for that type of story.
I like this series enough I hope for them to keep going 😂

I mean if I suddenly got hurt like that I'd immediacy run to anyone who can comfort me.

I'll honestly be kind of disappointed if these two re-enter Hiromibowl. It felt like their arcs both got a decent sense of closure: Mio experienced her first crush and first heartbreak and learned to move on, and Anju's re-evaluated her upbringing and the toxic mentality of needing a man to confirm her self-worth. It would be a regression for either of them and undo the character development they've already had.

Would it, though? Especially for Anju, I'm pretty sure she's just coping and trying to move on, but as soon as she realizes he's available again, I'm sure she'll go back to pursuing him, just without being a snake this time. Problem is, that past history of being a snake is going to continue haunting her if she does try to pursue Hiromi again.

Mio is in the same boat, too, just without being a snake. She's clearly not over Hiromi and only started trying to move on after he rejected her saying he was with someone else already. Problem with Hiromi is that he's leading all of them on. He allows the girls to take advantage of him way too much and they take that as him being interested in them, and he IS interested in them all, he's a horny retard who'd allow another girl to make out with him while he's on the phone with his girlfriend talking about the future and moving in with her. I predict the only one who won't chase him again is Yukari, as usual. The girls are in a better place thanks to Hiromi, but that doesn't mean they won't chase him again if the opportunity presents itself. And unless Hiromi himself changes drastically, he's not going to tell any of them "no" and that won't be pretty.

Anyone upset should've seen this coming chapters ago when Nonoka's friends were like... 'Oh, that's great, you don't have to take care of your boyfriend. He can take care of himself, unlike your last boyfriend'. And we got that whole thing with Nonoka being told she likes to baby her boyfriends and be the caretaker.

It was 100% going this way.
Seeing it coming does not preclude one from feeling upset that it happened anyway.

Bruh, why shouldn't i be surprised?? Hiromi getting cucked again wasn't in my bingo card. In fact, it wasn't even needed to be on it. It's the defauly Sasuga-special. The mandatory moment in her mangas.

And still, despite of everything, it was hella predictable as fuck. Now they're promoting Lili again as le pure main love interest, and using Hiromi's (now failed) departure frlm the sharehouse was the best pretebse to give her a conflict.

I prefer Miyajima Reiji for my favorite ragebaiting author myself. Unironically. I don't read rent a gf but I am waiting for trashfire comment in your favorite social media every new chapter. :meguu:
Miyajima, Sasuga, Seo, Katsura, Fujimbo and Minenami may be the top 6 ragebaiters outside of the batoru manga genre. Everytime one of their manga makes a ragebaiting chapter, it's guaranteed the comments box will have legendary reactions and takes.

He really does deserve everything coming to him. He's just a horny idiot deluding himself into believing he's ready to be responsible for a family.

See, that's another thing that actually has me wondering if Yukari is endgame. For most of DomeKano,
Hina was "unattainable", even though the two in that story actually got together for a bit before breaking up, the relationship was presented as something that just wasn't in the cards. Until the relationship actually did come to fruition and in the trashiest way possible.

Also, I do wonder which of the other girls on Hiromi's level would work the best. I'd say Tsubasa is the clear front-runner, then Anju>Lily>Mio. If I'm sniffing this out correctly, I think he's going to get passed around between the four of them and get tugged every which way possible and we're going to see an actual competition this time. But Yukari, as usual, is going to sit that shit out because she's already happy and there's no way she's going to put herself in the middle of all of that. I'm hoping it'll be an especially nasty bloodbath.

So, as far as satisfying outcomes go, I'd say it's either:
1. Yukari end after they spend more quality time together once he's sufficiently broken down and rebuilt.
2. Tsubasa end. There's that thing she said about them getting together if neither of them have a partner later on down the line. I don't think he'd work well with any of the other girls.
3. Forever alone end. Or, at least, just moving on from the sharehouse after he's learned to find happiness on his own, with the hope of finding a future partner with that new healthier mindset. Though it's arguable if this is "satisfying", it'd still be a nice hopeful ending for him after everything gets fucked up at the sharehouse. And I predict it will.
The third option is hard to happen in my opinion. Is is not Sasuga's vibe.

So Nonoka is into famine porn confirmed?

Anju done kicked the hornet's nest with the shit she told Nonoka

Nah this is one of those takes that remind me of couples at therapy who yell at the counselor for ruining their marriage, when all the counselor did was exposed the underlying issues, behaviors, desires etc.. Nonoka's case, like many, are filled with unspoken boundaries, lingering insecurities, and behavioral issues that they unknowingly need and/or live their life by.

Anju’s plan worked perfectly… and none of the housemates who claim to care about Hiromi gave him any warning about the time bomb Anju planted.
@MiguelH224 This is the crux of the issue. None of them spoke to Hiromi about her GF. They've been willing to help him with relational issues many times, but not this time. And most interestingly, they choose not to get involved when doing so conflicts with their interest of winning Hiromi's love. To be fair, this information is coming from Anju, who I'm sure the housemates have held her to be the least trustworthy regarding Hiromi. Either way, they are still banking on Nonoka to fail.

what if Yukari wins simply by not playing until the very last minute? Not because she's calculating, but more because she's the type of girl Hiromi really needs and he's just not the person he needs to be to realize it yet? Hiromi thinks he wants a girl that puts her partner before herself, but that hasn't gotten him anywhere and this third break-up may very well send him spiraling. I'm not expecting Yukari to swoop in and take advantage of his weakness or anything (rather, I hope she doesn't, she's arguably the only sane person in this story aside from the gay homie), but we still haven't seen anything substantial focused on her and there's no fucking way she's just there only for how she's been used in the story so far.
The substantial impact you're looking for in Yukari already happened at the start of the manga in chapters 5-6. I've written my thoughts about Yukari and predictions for this manga's stalemate here.

Yukari is the healthiest option in the house for sure, mainly because she’s never once been dishonest. Yukari knows who she is and what she wants.

Unfortunately for Hiromi, what she wants is her personal freedom and to never be limited by someone else. That just doesn’t align with Hiromi’s dream of a family with kids. Hiromi has also proven to be a jealous guy which is not compatible with Yukari’s job.

They’d be a dynamite FWB pairing though ;)

We know she's very open to marriage (Chapter 45 below - click to zoom). But I have a feeling Sasuga is gonna make Hiromi end up living in the share house at the end, because she's slowly reframing what family feels like for Hiromi.

Famine porn?? No dude, it's literally just like Anju said, she loves taking care of people, she noticed that he hasn't been eating properly so her urges to take care of him are starting to kick in
