I watch a lot of crime dramas where like 99% the time the first suspect is not the killer so my genre senses are tingling, the MC isn't very genre savvy for someone who actually knows which genre they are in. Most horror movie protags don't know they are in a horror movie so it makes sense why they would miss obvious horror tropes but she knows she is in a murder mystery
