Disclaimer, I don't understand japanese at all, so this is all speculation from what i read at raw manga + using google lens as translator.
i think the divorce is solely due to the manager's rule, not the company
-. next chapter mc will meet and talk with her wife, and in the end he signed the divorce paper and send them via mail (i'm not sure about this)
-. After that, the news about "the actress was married and her manager forcing her to divorce as a condition to become actress" is becoming viral.
-. The company order her to do press conference without her manager,
-. in the press conference, she said she was greedy to become an actress and signed the contract knowingly she have to divorce her husband.
-. she said she realized her mistake and she's sorry to the people that supporting her and don't wanna let go both of her marriage and acting career.
-. The company rep said that the manager punishment will be decided later (i think she's fired/resigning because later there's a pic of her with some box wearing sweater)
-. After that she come back to their house and reconcile with the MC.

If you wish to see some punishment or revenge to the manager, there is not. She even barely appear in the last chapter.
"Divorce your husband to advance your career" sounds like it can't be legal, esp considering she's not an idol but oh well

Although while i'm reading it more for the food than the interpersonal relationships about the wife (tho i do hope he can get a nice bond with his coworkers too) , but it would've been better if they 'drifted away naturally' b/c of personal goals/paths in their lives or so
Personally if I were to see an up and coming actor who’s 30 and she’s married I would not care so I get why she called him a friend cause for some unknown reason saying he’s her husband might backfire on her but I do feel she’s selfish not even trying to contact the mc even when she’s acknowledged he was there for her being an actor.

But her manager on the other hand not even the flames in hell is enough for her did she not learn from her previous actress

I wonder if there are more 'lighthearted' series where the wife is also some successful industry person, goes home and has an 'off mode' and pampered by a househusband lol

The story is really not painting the actress in good light. The core problem is how she actually managed to lose contact with the dude that caused a lack of crucial communication. Seems like the dude would have signed the divorce if she told him that she would choose her acting career over their marriage instead of being told by a third party.

This would have gone better if the ending is them conclusively separating without the manipulation drama but it seems like its supposed to be a short drama so its not that bad.
